Patton McDowell has enjoyed a successful thirty-year career in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development. His consulting practice, PMA Consulting, has allowed him to work with more than 240 organizations, including nonprofits focused on healthcare, education, arts and culture, and human services.

Patton received a BA in education from UNC Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar, an MBA from the McColl School ofBusiness at QueensUniversity of Charlotte, and his Doctorate in Education (OrganizationalChange and Leadership) from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified FundraisingExecutive (CFRE), a Master Trainer for AFP International, and the host of the weekly podcastYour Path to Nonprofit Leadership
