Bruce Craul

About

Bruce’s leadership extended beyond his professional roles. He served as the 2012 chairman of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, representing more than 10,000 members and 1.2 million employees across the state of Florida. Additionally, he was chairman of the Tourist Development Council board for Okaloosa County, demonstrating his commitment to both industry growth and community service.

An active leader in his local community, Bruce was president of the Destin Rotary Club, a member for more than twenty-six years, and served as the chief volunteer officer of the Emerald Coast Boys and Girls Club, where he remains a lifetime board member. Bruce also served as an adjunct professor in Hospitality Management at Northwest Florida College, Pensacola State College, and Brevard State College, sharing his vast knowledge with the next generation of industry leaders.

After retiring from his full-time role in hospitality, Bruce became a partner at Predictive Index, a tool for talent optimization, a company he had used for nineteen years. He is also a certified speaker, coach, and trainer for the John Maxwell Team.

In Bruce’s own words, “I retired from my profession, but not from my purpose or passion.” He continues to inspire others through his work and passion for helping businesses optimize talent, build strong teams, and create lasting success.

Bruce lives in Destin, Florida, with his wife, and they are proud parents of four children and have six grandchildren.
