Adriane Johnson-Williams is an organizational effectiveness coach and consultant, a strategic and results-oriented leader who has spent her career working in the community-based nonprofit, philanthropic, and higher education industries.

She founded Standpoint Consulting, where she helps senior leaders figure out how to create organizations that are ready to maximize the benefits of diversity and commit to race equity.

After growing up in Memphis, Tenn. (where she is based today), Johnson-Williams attended all-girls boarding school, Foxcroft School, in Middleburg, Virg. She received a B.A. from Wellesley College, an M.Ed. from The George Washington University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

It is her combined career, education, and real-life experience as a Black woman in majority white spaces that has informed this body of work.
