He currently serves as EVP of Human Resources & Chief of Staff at Advantage, The Authority Company, where he oversees HR strategy and leads culture, talent, and leadership initiatives across the organization.

Douglas is recognized for his ability to translate business needs into innovative HR practices that boost performance and build purpose-driven workplaces. His leadership portfolio includes driving change initiatives, leading during mergers and acquisitions, and cultivating high-performing teams grounded in accountability, inclusion, and trust.

Prior to Advantage, Douglas held multiple leadership roles at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, where he developed and implemented talent strategies at scale. His approach to human capital leadership blends analytics, empathy, and structure to help teams navigate change with confidence and clarity.

He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Church Music from William Jewell College and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Keller. Whether advising C-suite executives or mentoring new managers, Douglas stays grounded in his belief that meaningful work is the key to long-term organizational success.

He lives in South Carolina with his wife, Amber, and their two sons, and continues to write, speak, and consult on creating high-performance workplace cultures that bring out the best in people.
