After more than twenty years in the industry and a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, he left the corporate sector to invest in the people in his life by funding a tech start-up and incorporating a nonprofit foundation with his wife, Julie. He currently resides in Virginia with his wife, Julie, and daughter, Lucy.
