For more than 15 years, David has been committed to the financial well-being of his clients, and now more than ever, David is dedicated to changing an industry he feels is broken. His passion for the business centers around helping people restore vital balance and financial strength through life’s many transitions- selling a business, loss of a loved one, marriage, divorce, retirement, etc.

In 2016, David Adams launched his Retire While You Work radio show, a weekly show on Nashville Newsradio 1510 WLAC and iHeart Radio, offering financial advice and answering listener’s financial questions. He also launched the companion website, RetireWhileYouWork.com, and e-book to share his philosophy of changing retirement in America and offer additional resources to his listeners and readers.

David was recognized in 2016 as one of the top 40 under 40 independent financial advisors in the U.S by WealthManagement.com and REP magazine*. David also appeared on the cover of Investment News as “Advisor to the Stars” for the work he does with musicians and songwriters of Nashville.

For 2016-2017 and each of the three years prior, David was recognized by Raymond James as part of the Chairman’s Council for the top 1-2% advisors in the country**. David was also written up in Music Row magazine for helping some of Nashville’s finest songwriters manage the financial ups and downs of the music industry. In addition, to all of his professional achievements in 2016, David was chosen by Nashville Lifestyles as one of their top 25 most beautiful people.

David serves as a frequent resource for many local, regional, and national news outlets such as the Nashville Business Journal, Investment News, Money, etc. as their “go to” professional on all investment-related matters.

In addition to David’s professional accomplishments, David is equally committed to work in the Nashville community. David serves on the boards for Saving Case and Project Alive, a non-profit that benefits young boys with Hunter Syndrome, a rare genetic disease. Additionally, David serves on the board of the Onsite Foundation, an organization that provides scholarships for people who cannot afford therapy for addictions, emotional trauma, etc., or just need guidance to live a centered and more balanced life. He is also a wish grantor with Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee.
