Rick K. Jones is a veteran entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and author whose career spans more than four decades of helping brands connect with audiences through sports, entertainment, and lifestyle marketing. As the founder of agencies including The Strategic Group, The GEM Group, FishBait Marketing (now FishBait Solutions), and Heartland Pirates, Jones has built a legacy of profitable, purpose-driven business leadership. Jones also hosts the SH-BOOM podcast specifically for the Baby Boomer generation. 

In his latest book, The Business Tithe: A Faith-Based Framework for Profitable Businesses That Change the World, Jones challenges entrepreneurs to view generosity as a core business principle rather than an afterthought. Drawing from real-world experience, he shares a seven-step model designed to align profits with faith, purpose, and community impact.

Beyond his entrepreneurial success, Jones serves as Captain and Chief Creative Officer of Heartland Pirates, an organization devoted to reaching consumers who embrace traditional American values. He also contributes to America’s 250th anniversary celebration through the United Taste of America initiative, showcasing regional foods and heritage.

A fourth-generation Atlantan now living on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, Jones continues to write, speak, and consult on topics related to faith-driven entrepreneurship, purpose-based leadership, and stewardship in modern business.
