About

Travis and Amanda LeFever are co-founders of Mission Mobile Medical Group, a social-impact focused B-corp at the forefront of transforming healthcare delivery in America. With their team, they’ve spread a simple idea that has incredible impact: bringing healthcare directly to the people who need it most.

In Game Changers: Voices From the Front Lines of Mobile Health, the LeFevers share their story of loss, purpose, and innovation, and introduce the servant leaders redefining care on the streets, in neighborhoods, and across rural America. This work is personal for Travis, who was raised in the Appalachian Mountains and lost his father far too early. That tragedy revealed to him some deep inequities in our country, and became the catalyst for a bold vision of eliminating all healthcare provider shortage areas in the US.

Before founding Mission Mobile Medical, Travis was a successful entrepreneur in the construction industry. Amanda brought strategic expertise and operational excellence to their next chapter. Together, they launched a mobile healthcare startup at their kitchen table, and went from having $14.87 in the bank to an international company operating in 42 states, Latin America, and Canada, generating over $100 million in revenue within five years.

Today, Mission Mobile Medical helps communities, hospitals, and organizations deploy mobile health programs to serve vulnerable populations. Under their leadership, the company equips healthcare systems with all the tools they need to expand access, and deliver high-impact healthcare across wide-ranging geographies..

As co-authors of Game Changers, the LeFevers provide more than a collection of inspiring stories. They offer a practical framework for others to follow. Their work helps clinicians rediscover their joy, administrators launch sustainable programs, and community leaders build lasting trust with the people they serve.

Travis and Amanda LeFever live in Greensboro, North Carolina, where they continue to champion the idea that healthcare must meet people where they are. As speakers, authors, and advocates, they are committed to helping America remember the best prescription – valuing all people, and neighbors caring for neighbors.
