Tyrone (Ty) Johnson is a seasoned executive and private equity partner with more than 25 years of leadership experience across industries, including industrial, finance, and technology. Currently, he serves as CEO of Cascade Services, a premier residential tri-trade services platform, where he focuses on strategic growth and acquisition opportunities for family-owned businesses.

Johnson’s book, Beyond the Deal: A CEO’s Guide to Private Equity Success, reflects his extensive experience leading companies under private equity ownership. In it, he draws on his dual perspective as both a multi-time CEO and an operating partner, offering practical insights into the unique challenges and expectations leaders face after the deal closes.

Before joining Cascade Services, Johnson held senior roles at Trive Capital, Select Interior Concepts, Residential Design Services, and OmniMax International. Earlier in his career, he served as President of Amtico, Senior Vice President at Mannington Mills, and spent over a decade advancing through leadership positions at Armstrong World Industries. He began his professional journey at GE Capital, where he built expertise in quality and operations.

Beyond his corporate career, Johnson invests in education and the arts, serving on the Board of Trustees of The Woodruff Arts Center and the Advisory Council of 21st Century Leaders. He lives in Florida with his wife, Amy, and their children, Tyler and Sydney.
